There is a swimming pool just for you!
It is kept at a constant temperature throughout the summer and is the ideal place to cool off when it gets too hot to sit in the sun.
The kids will love splashing about and there are a selection of inflatables to play and float about.
Watch out, adults! you are going to get splashed!
When you get to En Théza, you'll find that it is surrounded by the Aude countryside.
Depending on when you arrive, you can watch the the cycle of farming from ploughing to harvest or observe the birdlife from courting to feeding young.
If you are lucky, you can see Red Squirrels, Muntjac Deer, Quail and Harriers from the kitchen!
Our neighbours tell there are even wild boar! but we haven't seen them yet.
We started work renovating En Théza in about 2003. The original building had animal stalls on a mud floor downstairs; this was excavated, sealed and a tiled floor placed.
The whole house was gutted. New windows and door were knocked into the walls. The whole of the ground floor was dug out, foundations laid, upper floor reinforced.
A chimney was opened up and two wood-burning stoves were installed.
